Silk Road Startup

The first gathering of Iranian startup ecosystem with international communities. Silk Road Startup is the first international B2B, invite-only, gathering in Iran to showcase the local startup ecosystem to international communities. We bring together the best startups, investors, corporations, accelerators, incubators and Tech media.

We ran a call for entry for startups from all over the country and 400 startup applied to our challenge. We then shortlisted the top 84 startups who pitched during our road trip in 7 cities of the country. After these series of pitch competitions, 16 finalists were accepted to participate at the finals in Kish.

The Summit in Kish is a mix of pitch competitions, keynotes, panels and workshops in 2 days. We also hold many 1:1 sessions of matchmaking and VIP dinners to optimise the experience of the attendees.
