Khar and Partners develops solutions for areas called extreme (desert, mountain…) for animal nutrition and the production of drinkable water. Khar & Partners is a team of researchers, agronomic engineers and pharmacists that have successfully reduced the amount of water needed (by 80%), the energy needed (by 70%) and the surface needed (by 98%) to grow 1 ton of fresh fodder per day. In order to become more accessible to consumers, Khar and Partners follows a decentralized model. Instead of big plants with large capacity, it prefers setting up small machines at many different locations. The vision is to play a central role in bringing safe, quality water to unserved and underserved people around the world who do not have reliable access to it.
