6. Use of Cookies
“Cookies” are pieces of information generated by web servers and stored in your computer for future access. Cookies cannot view or retrieve data from other cookies, nor can they capture files or data stored on your computer. We, our partners, and our suppliers use cookie technology to enhance your online experience by making it easier for you to navigate through our Services or make a feature work better. We also use cookies to track affiliates that refer you to our Services. These particular cookies are saved on your computer and collect no data from you. Generally, cookies can be disabled. The “help” portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. If you would like to use the Services, you may do so without accepting cookies. However, you should understand that if you choose not to accept cookies, some areas of the Services may not function properly or optimally, and you will not be permitted to access certain secured areas of the Services.
7. Use of Web Beacons
“Web beacons” (also known as “web bugs”) are small images, generally a single transparent pixel, served to you as part of a web page or other document. Web beacons may be used in parts of our Services for purposes such as site traffic reporting, unique visitor counts, advertising auditing and reporting, and personalization. These beacons do not collect personally identifiable information, and do not transfer any personally identifiable information to third parties. If beacons are used by any of our advertising services suppliers, that supplier’s privacy policy governs their use.
8. Advertisements
Any advertisements that may appear in the Services will generally be delivered (or “served”) directly to you by third parties, such as ad networks, advertising agencies, advertisers, and audience segment providers (Advertisers). These third party Advertisers may collect information about you and your online activities, either on the Website or on other websites, through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies. Doing this allows them to recognise your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to understand your interests, deliver to you advertisements that are tailored to your interests and measure the effectiveness of their advertisements. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements were clicked. Please note that MAGNiTT does not have access to, or control over, the information these third parties may collect. The information and privacy practices of these third parties are not covered by this Policy. You agree that we may provide information we have collected from you, or which is publicly available on the Website, in a non-personally identifiable form, to Advertisers so they can select the appropriate audience for their advertisements or offers.
9. Retention of Information
We keep personal data for a variety of purposes and for a variety of time periods. The general guidelines for how long we keep personal data are based on what is necessary and proportionate in our business, taking into consideration how and why we collected it and with particular reference to legal obligations that apply to our business.
Where there is no legally defined time period for keeping data, we will keep your information for a time period based on relevant industry standards.
Where there is no relevant industry standard, we will use a time limit that allows us to serve you as customers but also ensures we don’t keep your personal information for longer than we need to.
10. Third Party Websites
The Services may contain links to other Internet websites.
We are not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites or services. This Policy only covers our website and any website that we own and control. It does not cover links to other sites nor information collected by parties that own and control those sites or their use of cookies when you visit another site. You should make sure that you read and understand any applicable third party privacy policies, and you should direct any questions concerns to the relevant third party administrators or webmasters prior to providing any personally identifiable information.
11. Marketing
We may contact you about MAGNiTT news, product updates and new products that we think you might be interested in. We may also contact you to provide you with offers, marketing materials and other promotional materials, both online and through other marketing channels, such as third party social networks, like Facebook. You can email us at privacy@magnitt.com at any time to opt out of this.
We take steps to limit direct marketing to a reasonable and proportionate level, and to send you communications which we believe may be of interest or relevance to you, based on the information we have about you. Unless you’ve opted out, we might also use your personal data to show you digital advertisements via your social media feed, on search engine results pages, or on other websites.
Some communications are essential in order to perform our contract with you. The following communications are not marketing communications and you cannot opt out of these emails.

  • To invite you to take part in surveys about MAGNiTT Services, which are always voluntary.
  • Maintaining and improving our Services: for example, we may use your information that we obtain through your emails and calls to train our team. We may also use your information to ensure that our Services are working as intended – for example, understanding which parts of the website are easiest to use. We may also contact you for suggestions on how we can improve the way we provide our Services to you.
  • Sometimes, we’ll remind you that you can update your preferences for how you’d like us to send marketing info. Or, if you haven’t told us what your preferences are, we might get in touch to find out. This form of contact is not considered marketing.
  • Helping to prevent and detect fraud or debt: we also need to be able to detect and prevent fraud.
  • And finally, unless you’ve opted out, we might use your data to give you marketing and offers that are tailored to you. If you do opt out of this, we’ll still analyse your data, but we won’t use this analysis to market anything to you. We could still send you generic marketing, which might not be relevant to you.
Email Marketing
We may use contact information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to You.
You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of our e-mails, or by sending us an email at privacy@magnitt.com. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to the Services related communications.
