The University of Bahrain (UoB) in partnership with Learning Machine announce that it will be issuing digital diplomas anchored to the blockchain using the Blockcerts open standard. This initiative makes UoB one of the first universities globally to issue digital diplomas.

University of Bahrain president, Professor Riyad Hamzah comments on this new initiative saying: “We at UOB are delighted to be the trailblazers in using blockchain in the Mena region in order to better serve our students.
