Dubai-based e-commerce startup The List receives its second funding after TURN8's September 2016 investment, and succesfully raises a $1.7M SEED round from local and international venture capital firms.
The company announced that it would use the sum to invest in technology and build a mobile platform.
This will begin with an Apple (iOS) offering in 2018.
The List connects boutiques in Paris, London, Milan, New York and Tokyo with customers in the Middle East and is designed to provide access to products that are more expensive or not yet available in the region.
Users of the platform include Gucci, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Rolex, Cartier, Vetements, Off-White, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Yeezy and Fear of God, according to the announcement.
The company, which was founded in March 2016 by entrepreneur Andreas Skorski, provides payment, logistics and shipping for orders to 190 countries
