Truck booking and delivery platform Trukkr went through a successful seed round closing at $600K. Led by Peter Findley, General Manager of NYC-based early-stage VC firm Anchorless Bangladesh and with the participation of Pakistan-focused Kinnow VC, Kargo Technologies founder, and executives from Cue Health.
Founded in 2020, Trukkr has been providing delivery solutions on its integrated marketplace, helping companies & individuals move their goods through a vetted network of transporters and truck drivers. To date, Trukkr has served 20,000 truck movements and has introduced its own logistics management platform, allowing users to create & track their own transporter fleets in real-time.
Commenting on the success of their journey so far, Trukkr co-founder, Sheryar Bawany explains “With an experienced operations team led by the founders, and a strong, comprehensive, and localized tech platform built in-house, we have completed more than 20,000 trips since we started operations in 2020, and the positive response from our customers has been overwhelming.”
Trukkr shows innovative prowess in their integrated technology; Peter Findley reflects on the secret of their success “Trukkr’s technology is top in a category not just in Pakistan but also in global markets. Its management team has a great understanding of how to implement the freight solution. Their knowledge of graph theory allows them to understand routes in a manner that minimizes waste. This leads to an ability to improve the carbon footprint of the trucking industry and also their partners.”
This round of investment comes as a booster to an already growing startup. With the newly acquired funds Trukkr aims to expand its operation and further develop its technologies, introducing unique solutions that differentiate them in the Pakistani delivery & logistics sector.
