The Dubai Smart City Accelerator Cohort 3 Demo Day 2020
The Dubai Smart City Accelerator powered by Startupbootcamp is MENA’s leading smart city accelerator which is devoted to building startups, dedicated to making cities smarter, efficient and happier. The Dubai Smart City Accelerator is a 3-month program that includes funding, office space, and mentorship to foster the next generation of smart city solutions.
The Dubai Smart City Accelerator is going to be celebrating its 3rd cohort completion by hosting the 3rd Demo day to present it’s top 11 startups on January 14th, 2020. Demo Day is the highlight event of the year, where VCs, investors, and Corporate executives are invited to hear startup pitches and value propositions. The event will be attended by more than 150 VCs, investors, and industry leaders.
The 11 startups were carefully selected from a pool of 800+ international startups and went through a three months extensive acceleration program. Some technology focus areas of the startups include AI, Smart Retail, Data Analytics, IoT, Big Data, Tourism, and more. Startups are currently ready to take their businesses to the next level, and Demo Day aims to connect them with the leading Smart City players in the region.
The Dubai Smart City accelerator is the leading Smart City program in the MENA region, supported by the industry leaders; DSOA, Dubai Chamber, du, Smart Dubai, Visa, Orange Business Services, and RIT Dubai. Partners have played an imperative role in accelerating the growth of the startups providing them with mentorship, introductions, and market entry facilitation. The 11 startups so far have secured 11 PoCs with the partners and in discussions for another 33.
