Stacks MENA in partnership with GIZ Egypt and Changelabs will be hosting the region’s first online Blockchain Bootcamp and Hackathon, to provide training, development, and funding for startups to build their platforms on blockchain technology.

Applications will close on 5 March 2021 and the event will take place from 16 March to 6 April 2021.
Program details:
● The Bootcamp will run for 3 consecutive weeks, followed by a 3-day Hackathon with up to $30K in prizes.
● Three winners will be announced at the end of the hackathon with $25K in total winnings
● All participants will also be eligible for an additional $5K per startup if their proposal is approved by the stacks foundation.
The 3-week Bootcamp will showcase 15 prominent startups in the market sourced from both the ecosystem as well as through partnerships throughout the entire MENA region. Workshops and coaching sessions will also be delivered by thought leaders, mentors, and experts in the industry that are tailored to help startups immediately implement new concepts for long-term success in their business.
The program will create an opportunity for startups to interact with some of the world's most renowned entrepreneurs, discuss their ideas with leading VCs, and roll up their sleeves and code the technology of the future. From a social perspective, it will include networking events, family dinners, activities, movie nights, and team-building exercises. The Bootcamp’s main goal is to offer startups unparalleled access to the resources needed to launch their business, acquire new customers, build long-term partnerships, recruit staff, and raise funding.
The team at Stacks MENA is working towards one mission: to make a positive, global impact by creating a new and inclusive blockchain ecosystem in the region. The hackathon winners will seamlessly be weaved into the global Stacks ecosystem, which in return will create immense opportunities for all.
