LEAP is on the hunt for 90 start-ups to pitch their business ideas in the Rocket Fuel Start-up Competition live at the event on 1-3 February at Riyadh Front Expo Center. Starting your own business is like riding a roller coaster. There are highs and lows, and the ride is nothing short of exciting. The Rocket Fuel Start-up Competition will help you on this journey by connecting you with potential business partners, helping you to attract investments, and giving you a platform to showcase your ideas to LEAP’s audience of 40,000+ regional and international attendees. Contestants will be judged on their start-up’s creativity, innovation, potential, functionality, and impact on people and society.
The 10 finalists of the Rocket Fuel Start-up Competition will enter the Grand Finale on 3 February at LEAP, where four lucky contestants will be crowned winners in the following categories:
Shooting Star Award – USD $100,000 prize fund
For the shooting star beginning their start-up journey
Technology for Humanity Award – USD $150,000 prize fund
For the start-up that best embodies the spirit of LEAP ‘technology for humanity’
The Aviatrix Award – USD $150,000 prize fund
For the best, most innovative start-up pioneered by women founders
LEAP Award – USD $200,000 prize fund.
For the strongest, most outstanding start-up across the whole competition.
