Oman Oil Marketing Company and Al Raffd Fund have found their 10 shortlisted companies for the 4th edition of Tasweik
Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has celebrated the latest batch of Tasweik winners and declared the new season of its entrepreneur’s supporting initiative, in partnership with Al Raffd Fund. The ceremony took place under H.E. Dr.Yahya bin Badr Al Ma’awali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Vice President of the Board of Directors at Al Raffd Fund. It featured delegates from Al Raffd Fund, promising local entrepreneurs and the OOMCO management team. Tasweik has taken place for the fourth time in consecutive years, and it provides funding from Al Raffd Fund to 10 shortlisted Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to help them with their brand and marketing activities.
According to Zawya, the combined amount of funding received by the 10 selected companies is a total of OMR 80,000. A panel of experts adjudicated the enterprises, and the winners were announced at the closing event. The winners are: Dr. Matlooba Al Zadjali, founder of the International Specialized Center for Heart and Vascular Disease (HVC), Sharifa Al Noumani, owner of Bright Uranus for the supply of uniforms, Hafsa Al Naddabi, owner of Shams Al Madhfoora Trading (private school), Basma Al Shukaili, owner of Sanad Services Center, Jarnaz Sulaiman, owner of Cake Studio, Ahmed Al Maashani, owner of Moja International, Yasser Al Farsi, owner of Bright Sur AlAfiya for the sale of building materials, Salim Abdullah, owner of a store specializing in the sale of fresh and barbequed meat and fish, Rawiya Al Marhoon, owner of a wholesale business in perfume and beauty products and Zainab Al Naddabi, founder of a wedding supplies business.
