Nestlé is looking for the next changemakers to create a waste-free future
In partnership with Ashoka, Nestlé have launched the Nestlé Creating Shared Value Prize 2020, which aims to discover changemakers and reward innovations that can address the worldwide challenge of creating a waste-free future.
Apply for the Nestlé CSV prize
Nestlé is on the hunt for a system-changing project that can support the company's visions that none of its packaging, including plastics, ends up in landfill or as litter. The issue of plastic waste is increasingly pressing and should be viewed as a responsibility as well as a priority.
The challenge is a rare opportunity for industry experts or even those starting out in the field to accelerate their initiative. Amongst other benefits, you will have the chance to:
● Win cash prizes worth up to CHF 250K
● Participate in specially designed workshops from Nestlé and Ashoka
● Collaborate with Nestlé to apply your solution to their business
● Receive advice from Nestlé’s management
Mark Schneider, CEO of Nestlé shared his concerns on the urgent issue impacting the planet, "Plastic waste is one of the biggest sustainability issues the world is facing today. Tackling it requires a collective approach. We are committed to finding improved solutions to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Our ambition is to achieve 100% recyclable or reusable packaging by 2025."
Apply for the challenge by visiting the Nestlé Creating Shared Value Prize 2020 website to find out more about the scope and criteria.
Submit your application by 18 December 2020 and email [email protected] for any questions.
If you don’t feel the opportunity is right for you at this moment, Nestlé (and the world!) would love your help in spreading the word to other changemakers working on packaging solutions that would be a good fit for this challenge.
