TiE Dubai, The Indus Entrepreneurs’ Dubai chapter, and du have re-upped their support for the region’s startup community.
Announcing their collaboration for a fifth successive year, the partnership will resume its focus on providing value to budding startups and the growing small-to-medium enterprise (SME) sector, through TiE’s networking, education and mentoring ecosystem.
Farid Faraidooni, deputy CEO for enterprise solutions at du parent company EITC, said: “SMEs account for an overwhelming majority of the UAE’s enterprises, which is why we must continue to promote and foster their growth. By reaffirming our commitment to supporting TiE Dubai, we are proud to be encouraging entrepreneurship and the beneficial impact the next generation of enterprises will contribute to the country’s business ecosystem and economic future.”
Ziad Matar, TiE Dubai president, added: “As an entrepreneur support organisation, partnering with a community giant like du enables us to reach and impact a wide ecosystem of small businesses and startups in the UAE. We thank du for their trust in our capabilities and the strength of our network, and we look forward to continuously working with the du leadership team to achieve our goal of fostering entrepreneurship in the country and across the region.”
