The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is inviting you to the closing ceremony of the second edition of its “Tech Champions” Accelerator program, graduating more than 50 startups championing Culture, Sports, Endowments, and Financial Technologies.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia announced the results of the second version of the Tech Champions program, which consisted of transforming 32 ideas into innovative business models, the launch of 12 technical startups into the competition market, the qualification of 4 projects in the track The business incubator, and the qualification of 4 others in the business acceleration track to present in the final ceremony of the program.

In a step to stimulate and adopt digital innovation by supporting entrepreneurs and local digital companies, and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading hub for digital innovation in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision. In this edition, the program focused on four sectors: "Culture, Sports, Endowments, and Financial Technologies", to find digital solutions to the challenges faced by these sectors, also working to provide Saudi entrepreneurs and innovators with technical and financing packages. In addition to training programs and guidance related to technology and business development. The program also worked to support its affiliates in the technical, administrative, and financial aspects through the Ministry's distinguished partners from the private and semi-governmental sectors.
Statistically, more than 3,000 ideas and startups were submitted to the program, and more than 300 male and female entrepreneurs participated in the current program version. The program’s hours for this version amounted to 10,000, which witnessed the participation of 50 mentors and trainers, the generation of more than 30 new jobs, and financial incentives surpassed one million riyals.

The Tech Champions program clearly highlights the Ministry's keenness to support and empower entrepreneurs by providing an integrated ecosystem that provides them with the support they need in the field of digital capabilities, access to modern technologies, and ability to develop their ideas and innovations. The ultimate goal of the ministry is to enhance the Saudis entrepreneur’s ability which will lead them to achieve the success that benefits the Kingdom and enhance its level of competitiveness.
It is noteworthy that the ministry, in its strategy to develop the sector, is aiming to develop the Kingdom's digital capabilities and invest them in an optimal way in the growth of its future projects, In addition to stimulating innovation, digital leadership, and investment in the sector to enable the Kingdom's vision 2030.
