The UAE’s energy of entrepreneurship and the investment in artificial intelligence and technology are propelling the country’s tremendous growth, said Peter Diamandis, world-renowned entrepreneur, author and futurist.
Speaking at a private event at the Capital Club last week, Diamandis, a pioneer in the field of innovation, said: “We are living in the most extraordinary time and this region is right up there driving the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
At the event, he shared details of the most exciting developments within Xprize, the incentive competition entity he founded in 1995. A non-profit organisation, Xprize designs and manages public competitions intended to encourage technological development that could benefit humanity. Its trustees and benefactors include Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, James Cameron, Larry Page, Arianna Huffington, Ratan Tata among others.
Diamandis also took the opportunity to provide his audience with a sneak preview of the highly curated Abundance 360 (A360) Summit and Program being held in Dubai in March 26 and 27, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and with Dubai Future Foundation as a hosting partner.
