INJAZ Egypt celebrated its Annual Recognition Event where it recognized volunteers and partners for the 2017-2018 academic year on September 16th, 2018. This year’s event was extra special as INJAZ Egypt celebrated 15 years of impacting Egyptian youth through its entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy programs. All this is thanks to more than 6000 volunteers who have reached more than 700,000 students across the 15 years.

Volunteers commit to implementing one of INJAZ’s programs, all of which aim to build the skills of young people and empower them to own their economic success.

More than 35 companies partnered with INJAZ Egypt in the 2017-2018 academic year and have given the opportunity to their teams to volunteer their time and effort to empower youth in schools and universities.

At the Annual Recognition Event, guests heard testimonials from two INJAZ Egypt students who shared how the programs impacted their lives. Several companies were awarded for their outstanding partnership. The Highest Growing Company Award went to SANOFI, who increased their volunteers from 9 to 100 throughout the academic year. The Most Creative Award was given to Orange Business Services and EK Holding. While the Most Committed Award went to MetLife and Raya. The Highest Impact Award was given to A15. This year, a special award was given to Orange Egypt and Citi for 15 Years of Empowering Egyptian Youth, as they have been partnering with INJAZ Egypt since its founding in 2003.
