Hatch Quarter CEO and Co-founder, Aiman Hamdouna, is also a founding partner of creative agency Mo Works, with his brother Mo Hamdouna. Since Hatch Quarter’s founding in 2015, the Hamdouna brothers have set out on the mission of harnessing the power of diversity and global connectivity to aid innovation in business. In 2021, Hatch Quarter launched the HQ Global Bridges initiative, a cohort-based program to equip technology companies with the tools and connections to “bridge” their businesses to the global market through the transfer of knowledge and collaboration.
The first program under the initiative is the HQ MENA Bridge Program, connecting Australia to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets through startups and innovation. The program has received grant funding from the Australian Government through the Incubator Support Initiative funding as part of the program. The program is also supported by the City of Melbourne, the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office in the UAE and has partnered with many MENA local ecosystem leaders and entities representing governments, corporates and investors in partnership with Mo Works.
Supported by Australia’s rich multicultural population and innovation industries, there are incredible new economic and social opportunities to bring Australian innovation to the MENA region and all over the world.
