Calling UAE-based female entrepreneurs to participate in GITEX Future Stars 2019
GITEX Future Stars 2019, the fastest growing global startup event in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, will welcome SBWC (Sharjah Business Women Council) for the fourth consecutive time. SBWC has invited the UAE’s most innovative female technology entrepreneurs to apply to their showcase pod at GFS which will take place on October 6-9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The requirements to apply before August 9, 2019 and get a chance to be showcased at the upcoming edition are as follows: the business must be based in the UAE, with a core focus in technology, innovation and functionality and must also support a social, cultural or environmental cause.
Since its creation in 2002, SBWC has focused its efforts in driving full involvement of businesswomen in the local economy.
Sheikha Hind Majid Al Qassimi, Chairperson of SBWC explains how their collaboration with GFS is a step forward in increasing the entry level of female-owned technology ventures as well as a “golden opportunity” for selected entrepreneurs to introduce their innovative ideas to potential international buyers and investors.
