Cairo, London, Dubai – Cairo Angels, a global network of angel investors focused on supporting startup opportunities in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, today announces its investment in Buseet.
Buseet is a TransportTech startup operating in Cairo and Dubai, which was founded by Amr El Sawy, Khaled Mahmoud and Mohamed Emad in . Buseet provides an easy to use, comfortable and cost-effective technology solution to the everyday commute of thousands of customers. Buseet is the first bus fleet based TransportTech startup founded in Egypt and, after successfully joining Dubai’s prestigious Startup Bootcamp in 2017, expanding their operations to Dubai in 2018. Buseet plans to use the investment to increase its product offering and to grow to other markets in the MENA region.
The Cairo Angels investment is part of a seed investment round that includes 500 Startups and other international angel investors from Singapore and Gulf. The Company is now well capitalized to grab a significant stake in this fast growing and exciting sector.
