Pakistan-based EdTech startup and online learning platform Bryt has successfully raised SEED funding in late 2021 led by MAGM Holdings which also has stakes in other established and upcoming Fintech, Healthcare, Agri tech, and Digital Media companies.
Through their digital platform, launched in May 2021, Bryt presented a golden opportunity for concerned students during the COVID-19 pandemic where remote learning suddenly became the norm. The overnight transition laid the foundation for an EdTech-ready market, yet presented its own set of challenges that were not being addressed despite rising competition. Bryt’s cure to “zoom fatigue” and snooze-worthy recorded lectures is simple - engaging bite-sized content that ensures high retention and knowledge reinforcement throughout the course lifecycle.
Following a 3-year consecutive growth of funding in the Pakistan-based EdTech space, the sector reached an all-time high in funding and number of transactions in 2021. Driving the almost 300% YoY growth in funding were E-learning platform Maqsad, online Tech trainer and job matching platform Dev Nation as well family education tracking platform Queno.

Bryt focuses on providing a holistic learning experience, complementing its engaging content with in-demand features such as ‘Clear your doubts’ which allows students to reach out for individual support, ‘cheat sheets’ for last-minute revisions, as well as interactive live classes for key topics. Bryt is currently focused on the Cambridge O level market but plans to expand into other verticals in the near future.
The brains behind this revolution are a team of renowned individuals with vast knowledge in their area of expertise. The team is led by CEO Zia Saleem, with 17 years of experience in the corporate sector and technology startups bringing invaluable product experience using disruptive technologies. The core team is comprised of Saad Saleem, a well-reputed educator that runs a successful YouTube channel called "Mathlete," along with Adil Usman, another equally reputed educator having worked with some of the country's most prestigious schools, and Faryal Zuberi, who is a software engineer by profession, and with her experience, will be looking to build a seamless tech solution to power the platform.
Bryt is all set to go above and beyond with this new funding, giving education a new meaning in the digitized era with the aim to give students a rejuvenated learning experience fit for the modern learner. Previously self-funded at the Pre-SEED stage, this latest investment will allow the Pakistan-based EdTech to solidify its position in the market and support its online platform and product offering.
