Big News! After Etisalat, Du Also Hops Onto the 5G Train
Dubai telecom giant Du has announced this Saturday that they are delivering 5G connectivity for the first time ever with their new Axon Pro 10 handset.
A few selected Du customers, who pre-registered from May 8th, are going to receive the device for free as well as 5G connectivity that is 20 times faster than traditional 4G.
Du also hosted UAE’s first live 5G consumer experiences throughout May via their retail stores and suhoors.
The ZTE Axon Pro 10 was shown to the consumers to realize how it is possible to unlock the full potential of network upgrade. Now finally the device is available to consumers with 5G.
Du is going to continue to bring 5G handsets over the next few weeks, including ZTE Router and Huawei Mate x5G as soon as they become available.
Last Thursday, Etisalat, the long term rival of Du, had announced that their subscribers can avail 5G services on the ZTE Axon Pro. It didn’t take Du to respond.
According to Arabian Business, Etisalat has claimed that this model is the first of many in line of 5G devices from global smartphone giants.
