Abu Dhabi accelerator programme welcomes 11 new startups
Plug and Play, the largest global innovation platform and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the leading international financial centre based in Abu Dhabi announced a list of 11 startups that are going to join the third FinTech and first Travel & Hospitality accelerator program.
The three-month span program will focus on innovation and market ready solutions within the FinTech industry. The program was launched as a collaboration between Plug and Play and ADGM back in the third quarter of 2018, and partnerships with bigwigs include Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), BNP Paribas and Etihad Airways. The list of partners exceeds 100 financial institutions which are based across industrial landscapes including Silicon Valley, Paris, New York and many more.
The program will commence on September 16th, 2019 and the startups will be working from Hub71 on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
The selected startups for the latest round of the program include:
AR4: a leading augmented reality company based in Austria and Silicon Valley.
Bankify: a firm that specializes in microservices tailored to match the demands of millennials.
CyberTalents: a platform that assesses and ranks security experts based on their technical skills.
DAPI: a firm that offers fintech companies a single API to manage financial data and authorize bank transactions regarding their customers.
E-bot7: offers AI solutions for customizing CRM systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
Mostly AI: offers a synthetic data engine that can be used to unlock data assets that are otherwise locked for privacy reasons.
Road Travel: a trip planning platform for airlines, hotels, rental cars, travel agencies and tour operators among many others.
Steerpath: a universal indoor positional platform for all venue types.
Toucan Toco: a data storytelling platform that specializes in communicating data effectively to management and aiding teams in order to better decision-making efficiencies of a company.
Ushur: a service engagement platform that digitally transforms workflows, by automating back-end process and customer conversations.
Verrency: a white-label SaaS that acts as both an API platform and a marketplace. It operates in real-time payment authorization process for fintech firms.
