Visage, a Dubai-born talent crowdsourcing startup, raised $350k in angel funding and will be joining the Alchemist Accelerator.
The round includes the newly formed Dubai Angel Investors and a number of UAE-based angel investors. This comes as Visage is about to enter the Alchemist Accelerator in San Francisco for a 6 month program.
Founded in 2015 by tech and recruitment industry veterans Joss Leufrancois and Barry Potier, and also led by CTO Emmanuel Marboeuf, Visage combines both crowdsourcing and artificial intelligence to enable companies to connect instantly with passive talent. Clients include a number of high growth startups such as Luxury Closet and Fetchr alongside top UAE corporations such as Etisalat and Etihad.
"After demonstrating early promise in the UAE, our ambition is to take Visage global. There is no better place than the Alchemist in San Francisco to do so. The money will be used to push the artificial intelligence within our platform and launch in the US market." said CEO and Co-Founder, Joss Leufrancois.
