Yuj Ventures is the private investing arm of the Yuj platform that also includes Yuj Kutumb and the Yuj Foundation, the impact investing and grant making arms respectively. Together, they represent the interests of Sid Yog, founder of emerging markets focussed investment firm, Xander Group, and community centric commercial real estate company, VR South Asia. Yuj Ventures invests in new and innovative ideas; helps rapidly growing companies scale in emerging markets; and enables alliances and joint ventures that support entry into new markets. Yuj Kutumb supports for-profit organizations providing societal benefits, and/or public goods, in a financially sustainable way. Yuj Foundation has an annual grant making program for social entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organizations in three primary areas - education, urbanization, and the arts. This focus represent our principal’s belief that a better world requires universal access to a quality education that fosters life long curiosity, a sustainable world requires regenerative urbanization and de-urbanization, and a civilized world requires more support to the arts which make us human. Yuj seeks to achieve its mission by backing passionate entrepreneurs, globally. The current Yuj portfolio spans the United States, England, Bharat, Israel, Hong Kong, Latin America, Brazil, Africa, Singapore and SE Asia. Ventures include omni channel and online retail, clean energy, new age flexible living and working platforms, sustainable food, entertainment and hospitality ventures, digital media, and tech enabled disruptors in traditional sectors like education, healthcare, and real estate.
