Wadi Makkah Ventures

Wadi Makkah Ventures Company is the investment arm of Wadi Makkah for Technology Company, which is wholly owned by Umm Al-Qura University. The company has three investment portfolios. The first of these portfolios was closed in 2017. most of the companies in this portfolio have obtained subsequent rounds of financing, raising the value of the successful investment in those companies, while the others are in the process of closing in their investment rounds. The second portfolio for investing in startup companies in the early stages (Seed Fund). The third one of these portfolios, which invest in advanced stages startups (Series A), focuses on areas and technologies dedicated to improving the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
