The PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator

PepsiCo has launched the first MENA edition of the Greenhouse Accelerator program, active globally since 2017. The program, launched in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, is part of PepsiCo's pep+ sustainability strategy and aims to support sustainable start-ups in the Food and Beverage Industry.

The Program will focus on 3 key areas:
- Supporting the development of sustainable packaging
- Accelerating packaging recycling rates
- Creating sustainable recycling behaviors

Ten selected companies will be chosen to participate in a six month business optimization program and receive $20 000 guaranteed funding, to plan and execute their business idea with mentors guiding all aspects of business development. The winning company will receive $100 000 to expand their business and be given an opportunity to partner with PepsiCo.
