GITEX Future Stars and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) are on a mission to reward the best space tech startups from around the world. Fifteen lucky shortlisted startups will earn FREE PODS to GITEX Future Stars 2018 to pitch to MBRSC on site for a chance to win cold hard cash prizes! If your ideas and execution seem out-of-the-world, you may even bag an MoU with MBRSC and the opportunity to collaborate on future UAE government space projects.
Already rubbing your hands in excitement? First just make sure you meet the below criteria in order to participate:
1.Have a registered company
2.Have a product or a pilot project
3.Must be a startup, scale up or young business with products or offerings in the following areas:
Spacecraft & Satellite Technology
All aspects of spacecraft software, hardware or enabling technologies, development, manufacture, and testing, of components, as well as propulsion and control methods
On-board & On-ground Data Handling & Processing Systems
Optimization of on-board resources, on-ground data handling, processing, and utilization systems – in particular value added software systems, algorithms and methods.
Green/Renewable Energy and Resource Management Technology
Existing space technologies that can be used to enhance quality of life on Earth, especially by reducing the environmental footprint of modern humanity. For example low/zero energy housing, or resource optimization (water) in daily life
Mars Science City – Museum and Education Facilities
Projects and business ideas for outreach and entertainment systems in the field of space research and technologies for the upcoming museum and education facilities of the Mars Science City in Dubai are welcome to apply
Why should I apply? MBRSC is offering cash prizes to the startups that place in the Top 3!
Cash Prizes: 1st place $30,000. 2nd place $20,000. 3rd Place $10,000.
